ICSWELFARE

Bringing Comfort and Lighting up their lives by sharing love and supporting their golden age.

The festival of Ugadi marks the New Year – a time for fresh beginnings, prosperity, and renewed hope. As part of our commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), the ICS Welfare Foundation was privileged to celebrate this auspicious occasion by partnering with the Jana Seva Orphanage

We believe that providing a supportive and well-equipped environment is key to nurturing the dreams of the next generation. Our Ugadi donation drive focused specifically on upgrading their kitchen infrastructure, enhancing the comfort of the children’s living spaces, and ensuring their personal security.

Here is a look back at the meaningful impact we achieved together:

1.    Equipping the Kitchen for a New Year

A healthy child is a happy child. To ensure the dedicated staff can prepare nutritious meals efficiently, we supplied a range of crucial kitchen items:

  • 2 Cookers & 1 Idly Maker: To facilitate the quick and bulk preparation of essential South Indian staples.
  • 1 Mixer: An indispensable tool to streamline the daily cooking process.
  • 2 Tawa: For preparing fresh, wholesome flatbreads and other necessities.
  • 2 Steel Storage/Serving Boxes & 2 Hot Boxes: To ensure food remains fresh, hygienic, and warm for serving.
  • 10 Serving Laddles & 25 Spoons: Essential high-quality utensils for proper service and dining.

2.     Enhancing Comfort, Security, and Organization

Beyond the kitchen, we focused on improving the residents’ daily lives by addressing personal comfort, security, and organization:

  • 25 Pillows: A dedicated donation to ensure restful sleep and enhance the overall comfort of the children’s bedding.
  • Sitting Mats: Essential for providing comfortable, clean seating for the kids during study time, meals, or group activities.
  • Lock & Key Sets: Donated to enhance the security and privacy of the children’s personal storage areas. This simple gesture promotes responsibility and personal dignity.
  • 3 Storage Racks: To help organize supplies, books, and personal items, creating a more tidy and functional living environment.

This donation drive was a direct reflection of the ICS Welfare Foundation’s core philosophy: to leverage our resources to create tangible, positive change in the communities we serve. By upgrading the Jana Seva Orphanage, we were not just giving supplies; we invested in the health, happiness, security, and future potential of every child residing there.
