A fresh space for fresh minds - a better environment for the leaders of tomorrow
True social responsibility begins at the grassroots level, and there is no better place to invest in the future than within our public education system. With this vision, the ICS Welfare Foundation has officially launched a comprehensive school remodeling project at the Government Higher Primary School (GHPS), Mantapa. Recognizing that a safe, vibrant, and well-equipped environment is essential for effective learning, this Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative focuses on upgrading the school’s infrastructure to provide students with the dignity and resources they deserve.
The core of this transformative project centers around expanding the school’s capacity through the construction of three brand-new classrooms. Designed to be spacious, well-ventilated, and structurally secure, these new classrooms will comfortably accommodate the growing student body, reducing overcrowding and allowing teachers to provide more personalized attention. This expansion ensures that more children from the local community have access to a clean, modern, and disruption-free learning environment that inspires them to excel academically.
Beyond academic spaces, the foundation is heavily focusing on student engagement and essential hygiene. The school is undergoing vibrant art painting works to turn plain walls into colorful, educational canvases that stimulate creativity and make the campus a joyful place to visit every day. Simultaneously, addressing critical sanitation needs, the project includes the new construction of a dedicated teachers’ toilet block alongside various miscellaneous works to repair and reinforce the overall campus infrastructure, ensuring long-term utility and safety.
By revamping GHPS Mantapa, the ICS Welfare Foundation is doing more than just mixing concrete and painting walls – it is rebuilding the foundation of community growth. This initiative reflects our deep belief that every child, regardless of background, deserves a school that sparks curiosity and pride. As the remodeling progresses, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the local authorities, school administration, and our dedicated project teams who are working tirelessly to turn this blueprint of hope into a reality for hundreds of young learners.
