At the ICS Welfare Foundation, our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) mission is driven by a deep commitment to ensuring every child has the foundation they need to thrive. Recently, we focused our efforts on Belaku Sishu Nivasa, a wonderful home dedicated to caring for orphaned and vulnerable children.
The heart of any home, especially a children’s home, is the kitchen. The kitchen staff work tirelessly, preparing large volumes of nutritious, fresh food every single day. We recognized that upgrading their essential appliances could significantly ease their burden and ensure better quality meals for the young residents.
1. The Gift of Efficiency:
We were delighted to donate two high-capacity 3-liter Wet Grinders to Belaku Sishu Nivasa, one each for their girls & boys block. This donation is more than just providing equipment; it’s an investment in efficiency, nutrition, and health.
- Ensuring Freshness: The wet grinders are crucial for preparing staple South Indian meals (like idli and dosa) by grinding fresh batter and pastes. This ensures the children receive the highest quality and most nutritious food possible.
- Saving Time and Energy: The 3-liter capacity allows the kitchen staff to process large batches quickly, saving hours of manual labor. This saved time can be redirected toward other critical aspects of childcare.
