Blessings of Abundance - Enhancing Comforts for our Elders
On the auspicious occasion of Vara Maha Lakshmi Festival, a time dedicated to prosperity, well-being, and gracious giving, the ICS Welfare Foundation proudly upheld its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) commitment by extending support to the residents of Omashram Trust.
Omashram Trust provides a loving and secure home for senior citizens. Our donation was specifically designed to enhance two critical areas of their daily life: personal hygiene and grooming, and key facility upgrades.
1. Dignity and Comfort:
We believe that personal dignity is paramount, and access to quality hygiene products is essential for the health and morale of the elders. Our delivery included a comprehensive supply of:
- Hygiene, Grooming, and Toiletries Kits: Ensuring every resident has the necessary items for personal care and comfort.
2. Practical Prosperity:
To ensure the smooth running of the facility and the elders’ daily comfort, we also focused on durable, necessary equipment:
- 1 Wet Grinder: A vital appliance for preparing nutritious, fresh foods easily and consistently.
- 4 Kettles: Essential for quickly and safely boiling water for tea, coffee, and other daily needs.
- 2 Geysers (Water Heaters): To ensure the residents have reliable access to hot water, a crucial comfort during colder months and essential for personal care.
3. The Meaning of the Festival
This donation drive, timed with the Vara Maha Lakshmi Festival, symbolizes our deep respect for the senior community. It is a heartfelt gesture of appreciation and commitment, ensuring their golden years are lived with comfort, care, and dignity.
