Investing in potential – Supporting the Mentally Challenged
At the ICS Welfare Foundation, our commitment under CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is simple: to make a real difference where it matters most. Recently, we directed our efforts to Asha Niketan – Home for Mentally Disabled, a place defined by dedication and love.
We know that nutritious, consistent meals are the foundation of good care, especially for those with special needs. Our focus was upgrading the Asha Niketan kitchen to help the staff serve the residents with greater ease and efficiency
1. The Donation: Kitchen Essentials
We were proud to provide the following items to bolster their daily operations:
- 1 Wet Grinder & 1 Mixer: To speed up food preparation and ensure fresh, healthy ingredients.
- 1 Single Stove & 1 Double Stove: Enhancing their cooking capacity for large-batch meals.
- 2 Kettles & 2 Kadai: Essential cookware for everyday boiling and cooking needs.
- Dining Sets: 20 Big Plates, 20 Small Plates, and 50 Spoons to ensure all residents have clean, dignified dining ware..
2. Our Impact:
- By providing reliable equipment, we are directly supporting the amazing staff at Asha Niketan. This donation means less kitchen downtime, faster meal preparation, and more consistent, high-quality nutrition for the residents.
